New gallery ‘Lake District’ added to Portfolio

Jun 15, 2013

To the Photography Portfolio I have added a new gallery: ‘New, Lake District, England’. Late May, early June I was in the Lake District commissioned by the Dutch ‘Bergen Magazine’ (Mountain Magazine), to make a report about the vast landscapes, extraordinary mountains and beautiful lakes in the area. I also went looking for the places which the English poet William Wordsworth (1770 – 1850) has visited and where he wrote about in his poems. The portfolio is still under construction and is regularly updated in the coming weeks with more pictures I made on this trip. See a preview below:

New photos Roparun 2013

May 24, 2013

In the Whitsun weekend I joined the Roparun again. The Roparun is a relay race from Paris to Rotterdam over 512 km. With this event money is raised for people with cancer. Last year I joined to make a documentary, this time I made photos of ‘my’ team Dordtse Klasse(n). It was a wonderful experience! For the runners and cyclists it was a tough issue, because of rain and cold. Nevertheless, everyone made it to the finish. The pictures I made can be found on my facebook page: Photos Roparun Team Dordtse Klasse(n). See a preview below.
