Made a report about the last training of Roparunteam ‘Dordtse Klasse(n)’

In the Whitsun weekend (26 t/m 28 May) I’m going to follow the Roparunteam ‘Dordtse Klasse(n)’ during the relay run from Paris to Rotterdam. ‘Dordtse Klasse(n)’ is one of the 325 teams that participate in this monster ride for charity. With the Roparun money is raised for people with cancer. With camera and microphone I closely follow the runners, cyclists and escorts. I will ride along in the vans and follow the team members the final stretch to the finish from the motorbike. This week ‘Dordtse Klasse(n)’ held the last training prior to the Roparun. For me it was also a rehearsal. The following report is the result of this training.

Documentary ‘Goeverneurstreet’ nominated for the Olon Award!

The documentary ‘Goeverneurstraat’, which I’ve made for RTV-Dordrecht, is nominated for the Olon Award in the category ‘Best TV program’!! The Olon Award is comparable with the Dutch ‘Televizierring’, but for local broadcasters. You can see the docu here:

Actually I wanted to photograph the super moon, last saterday evening, but unfortunately it was too cloudy. So no moon at all, but this nice skyline of Dordrecht at dusk, made up my evening.

Canon EOS 5D mark II, Canon EF 16-35mm f/2,8 at 16 mm, f/16, 50 sec., ISO 200, 9ND gray graduated filter, Gitzo tripod, Gitzo ballhead, half roll of ‘topdrop’ and The Best off Bruce Springsteen on the car radio.

Frank Peters recorded the voice-over of the ‘Dordt in Stoom’ commercial. ‘Dordt in Stoom’ is a Dutch steam event. In May the commercial is shown on TV-Rijnmond and RTV-Dordrecht.

For the ‘Dordrechts Museum’, I’ve made a short film about the restoration of a painting of the Dutch artist Abraham Busschop. The museum purchased the painting last year and it is currently being restored. The film is part of a series of five videos, in which I follow the progress of the restoration.
