Very glad that one of my latest images has been awarded as finalist in the One Eyeland World's Top 10 Landscape Photo Contest. It is a long exposure image of the Oosterstaketsel, Blankenberge, Belgium. I'm really happy with it because it is a new way of photography in which I gradually blend color into black and white. Two older images of Durdle Door, England and Rofan Mountains, Austria have been awarded too.
I'm very happy to announce that two of my images have won the International Photography Awards (category Fine Art Minimalism). IPA is one of the most prestigious photo contests on the globe. The winning images are photos of Zeeuws-Vlaanderen in winter time. Other images received honorable mentions in the categories Fine Art Landscape and again Minimalism. Congratulations to all winners and awarded photographers. The overall title 'Photographer of the Year' (winner of all categories) will be presented on 22 October in New York!
